I have been in the medical field since 1972, and have never been able to come to terms with death and dying. As an OR nurse for many years, I have never directly dealt with grieving families. Thankfully, I have lost precious few patients in the OR, but have held the hands of those with a poor prognosis, and tried to mask my own discomfort while trying to reach from within to find the comforting words they needed to hear. It is a tremendous gift to be able to relate to the dying patient and their loved ones-a gift I greatly admire. I read this book out of curiosity and because Judy is a personal friend. However, what I gleaned from Judy's insight and experiences with death in every conceivable circumstance has been tremendously enlightening. I'm grateful to have access to the many references, phone numbers, and websites in this book. A job well done, Judy! You have an amazing gift!Product details
